Where dental health and wellbeing mix
At Port Lincoln Dental, we’ve been looking after the oral health of our community since the 1950s.
While we might be part of Port Lincoln’s rich history, we’re leading the way into the future, offering the latest and best in terms of service, techniques, technology and comfort on the Eyre Peninsula.
We care about our patients and believe that by offering the best service within our comfortable and newly refitted practice, even the most nervous of patients will feel at ease.

Comfort first, dentistry second
We never rest on our laurels, which is why we’ve combined high-tech dentistry and services with a health and wellness vibe that makes a visit to our practice as relaxing as any other health treatment or lifestyle therapy.
And, while patients get to enjoy our relaxing refurbishment and other state-of-the-art comfort experiences (such as listening to your chosen music), the goals of Port Lincoln Dental remain the same:
1. To put the health and wellbeing of our patients first
2. To listen to patients’ needs, suggestions and yes, even their football banter
3. To offer the best and most up-to-date treatments available
4. To acknowledge how a patients’ teeth and smile make them feel
5. To offer value for money
Dentist
(In his own words)
I came to Port Lincoln after my graduation in 1993 and have been here ever since. I grew up in Blackwood in the Adelaide Hills with two younger siblings. Mum and Dad are still going well and we enjoy going to see them all when we can as a family. I am married to Fidelma, for nearly 23 years, and have two wonderful girls Sibéal (11) and Mairéad (5). More recently we have welcomed a new dog, Alfie!
Port Lincoln is a wonderful place to live and work. Initially I was involved in football and cricket sporting pursuits and have come to appreciate the pristine environment and produce.
My greatest mentors have always been involved in my education. From my parents, teachers in secondary school and more recently retired dentists Dr Bill Holland and Dr Pat Callaghan, who did so much to create what Port Lincoln Dental Clinic is today along with Dr Tim Hurley.
I have always strived to be the best dentist I can be, working hard at improving my skills supported by the very best technologies. In the tradition created by Bill and Pat we have strived to create a facility that is second to none and an environment where patients feel relaxed and our team can prosper.
When not at work I enjoy time with my family, in the garden or watching Wayback’s and the Crows!! If I could be anywhere other than here right now, it would be listening to my wife’s cousins playing music in a pub in Ireland or cooking pancakes for the kids on a beautiful morning in Dutton Bay.
