Hygienist

In 2000 I was employed as a dental assistant and receptionist at Port Lincoln Dental, where I quickly gained a passion for the dental industry.  I subsequently took the opportunity to move to Adelaide to complete dental Hygiene studies and I have now been working here as a hygienist since 2004.  

Port Lincoln Dental has a very family friendly atmosphere and having worked here since 2000, it has become like a second home.  The relationships built over this time with staff and patients alike are invaluable and rewarding.  My commitment and dedication to my job along with my patient, caring nature and experience result in quality individualised patient care.  Port Lincoln Dental’s modern working environment with up to date facilities are a big bonus and make it easier and enjoyable to work.

I have spent a large amount of my life on the Eyre Peninsula.  Born in Cummins, living in Wanilla during my early childhood and another couple during my later childhood in Warramboo and now living in Port Lincoln since 1995.  I have two children both born in Port Lincoln, my eldest now in Adelaide for university.

The best things about living in Port Lincoln are the strong community spirit along with the beautiful national parks and coastlines to explore so close by. 

When not working I enjoy spending time with my children and family would come first but when I have time to myself I enjoy running and regularly do this 3-4 times a week including taking part in our local park run and orienteering.

If I could be anywhere other than here right now it would be travelling, exploring and/or camping with family/friends.
